The Senior Information Security Engineer at Betsson plays a critical role in the protection of the organisation’s information systems. 
<h2>The Wow</h2>
The senior position assumes added responsibility due to experience across the areas of Security Governance,  Security Operations,  Security Awareness Training, and  Security Incident Response, with a concentration on Security Operations. In addition to hands-on technical work, the Senior Engineer will act as a technical leader; mentor junior team members; and contribute to the overall improvement of Betsson’s security posture. 
<h2>A taster of what you will be involved with: </h2>
Security Operations (SECOPS)  
<ul>
<li>Lead advanced vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling exercises.  </li>
<li>Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to the SOC team on complex threats, targeted attacks, and advanced persistent threat (APT) scenarios.  </li>
<li>Design and implement architectures for new security tools, automations, and workflows to improve detection and mitigation capabilities.  </li>
<li>Oversee security technology lifecycle management, including upgrades, integrations, and vendor evaluations.  </li>
</ul>
Incident Response (CSIRT)  
<ul>
<li>Participate and lead incident response efforts for critical security events, guiding investigation teams and coordinating with external partners when required.  </li>
<li>Perform and oversee forensic investigations, providing in-depth root-cause analysis and post-incident reports to executive stakeholders.  </li>
<li>Establish and refine incident response playbooks for various threat scenarios.  </li>
</ul>
Security Governance (GRC)  
<ul>
<li>Provide expert-level technical input during the creation, review, and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.  </li>
<li>Lead and facilitate complex Information Security Reviews and due diligence for high-impact projects and third-party engagements.  </li>
<li>Advise management on emerging risks, compliance trends, and alignment with international frameworks.  </li>
</ul>
Security Awareness Training (SAT)  
<ul>
<li>Participate in the design of security awareness initiatives.  </li>
<li>Evaluate program effectiveness and assist in the adaptation of campaigns based on emerging threat trends.  </li>
</ul>
<h2>What we are looking for</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent extensive industry experience). </li>
<li>Minimum 5–7 years in Information Security, with at least 3 years in a senior, lead, or architect-level role.</li>
