Reporting to the Procurement Manager (Raw), Project Specialist is responsible to deliver assigned sourcing projects for new product developments and buying consumables for the factories.
Key Accountabilities
Markets Assessment Projects
- Perform Industry Analysis for specific new markets as per assignment of Procurement Manager
New Product Development Projects
- Identify potential suppliers for new materials
- Foster, capture and channel innovative ideas from suppliers to feed new offerings pipeline.
- Work in close cooperation with R&D to support new product development, cost modelling and cost roll-ups for new products including benchmarking and cost estimates
- Lead production trials when needed as a part of new supplier qualification process
- Liaise with suppliers on documents required for new item, new vendor qualification. Bridge gaps if needed with QA and R&D departments to enable qualification.
Consumables buying
- Review purchase requisition and ensure timely Purchase Order placement
- Follow up and expedite Purchase Orders

- Development of plans to achieve objectives.
Ideal candidate profile:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Sciences, Supply Chain or Finance
Experience
- Desirable 1 year experience in procurement, supply chain or finance
- Career path: 3 years
